Hi! I’m Ashley Niels, though most people that know me just stick with Ash. I’m 23 years old and I recently finished my second degree at Northland College. That puts me at 2 majors (Animal Psychology and Biology) and a minor (GIS). My girlfriend Nikki and 12 of our kids currently live with my mom and younger sister in Tennessee. We have a zoo, but we wouldn’t have it any other way! I’ve been an animal lover since birth and I could never imagine a life without them constantly surrounding me. Our house is cluttered, crazy, and filled with love. Our pets are our kids and we love them more than anything. Spunky: our highly photogenic 5 year old male husky/shepherd/chow mix pup
Zane: our shy but sweet 4.5 year old black male cat
Akima: our beautiful, highly independent 4 year old diluted calico female cat
Merlin: the newest addition to the family – our crazy 8 month old tabby male kitten
Drake “Trouble”: our mischievous 4.5 year old dark sable ferret boy
Nate: another troublemaker, our 3 year old light sable ferret boy
Morgan: our skittish little one year old old black and white hooded female rat
Meetu: our cute one year old old black and white hooded dumbo female rat
Chunky: our black and white hooded male rat
Kendi: our gorgeous ball python
Galileo: our amazingly magenta betta
Aristotle: our strong purple, red and pink betta
Phoebe: my beautiful Hypotangerine Carrot Tail female leopard gecko (currently at my dad’s)
Sahara: my cute Bell Albino female leopard gecko (currently at my dad’s)
